Intel Education for Future, Day 4 (Інтел Навчання для майбутнього, День 4)

Сьогодні заняття почались о 10.00. Викладач попередив, що запізниться і ми (я і Наташа) вирішили теж трохи запізнитись, але не вдалось змахлювати, викладач прийшов раніше, ніж говорив :)
Сьогодні ми дооформлювали свої плани та інші документи. Викладач роз’яснив що потрібно буде на завтра приготувати та як захищати. Сьогодні заняття закінчились раніше, бо приїхали представники GlobalLogic з виступом.
Сподіваюсь, я завтра, все-таки, отримаю сертифікат :)

Intel Education for Future, Day 3 (Інтел Навчання для майбутнього, День 3)

На третій день практики почався о 8.00, лише половина студентів була присутня, але за півгодини вже майже всі зібрались. Спочатку було якось в’яло, бо усі практично "спали" на ходу. Викладач зробив зауваження, що не усі виконали домашнє завдання, але це їхні проблеми, його все рівно треба зробити до кінця курсу. Почали ми працювати з плану, найважливішого документа практики. Викладач роз’яснив як його заповнювати і дав час на заповнення, але за більш ніж годину ніхто не справився, так що план залишився додому усім. Потім ми сіли за центральний стіл, щоб отримате наступне завдання. Викладач роздав нам приклади бюлетенів, які потрібно було розглянути, та обрати найкращі. Ми поділились по групам та обговорювали кожен отриманий бюлетень. Потім було завдання, назвати те, що потрібно бути у бюлетені, команда, яка назове найбільше - виграє! Моя група виграла, і ми отримали смайли :)

Після цього ми отримали завдання - створити власний бюлетень. Після завершення створення наших бюлетенів було голосування, кожен зміг дати перше, друге чи третє місця бюлетням. У кінці голосування виявили переможця. Жаль, але я отримав тільки два голоса (один з них, був мій). Пізніше ми подивились два уривка з фільму та обговороли їх. І останнім завданням було, створення веб-сторінки по своїй темі. Завершили сьогодні аж о 16.30, усі були заморені. Знову стали в коло та кожен похвалив себе за пророблену роботу. Сьогодні знову багато домашнього завдання робити. Але добре, що завтра потрібно бути в аудиторії о 10.00. Сподіваюсь, що висплюсь :)

Intel Education for Future, Day 2 (Інтел Навчання для майбутнього, День 2)

The second day of our practice was started at 9.30. Though I had a good sleep and finally decided what topic to choose. Today we started to prepare documents on project for our portfolio. The first task was to look a list of questions and find out whether question could be main for project. My group done it quite not bad. We discussed with other groups why exactly this or another question could be main or couldn't be. The next task was to develop an example of didactic material on our topic.

Intel Education for Future, Day 1 (Інтел Навчання для майбутнього, День 1)

Our computational practice has started today. Practice consists of the course Intel Education for Future which lasts five days. After successful finishing of the course we get certificate of passing the course and also we get good marks. First day passed quite cheerfully, time went by very quickly because there was very interesting. We were discussing problems of secondary schools.

A Sense of Adventure (Почуття пригоди)

In our time, life is not so interesting and exciting as it can be. The world has become a bland and safe place. Each day is like another and we are so tired of such life. People in the past used to risk their life by hunting animals, taking part in expeditions. We need some adrenaline and extreme to feel that our life is going forward. Risk sports become the fastest-growing leisure activities. More and more people try anything from organized bungee jumping to illegally jumping off buildings. And people never feel so alive as when they are risking their life. The real thrill-seekers in their quest for the ultimate sensation are thinking up more and more elaborate sports.

Extreme sports (Екстремальні види спорту)

Speed, excitement, danger. You can find all these in the different extreme sports that have become popular last 10 years. Take bungee jumping. You jump off a bridge and you fall and fall, and then, just before you hit the ground or water, an elastic rope pulls you back. In sky-surfing you jump out of airplane and use a board to "surf" the air, doing gymnastics in mid-air! And extreme sports on land can be just as dangerous.
